So Much Accomplished

What is better than a weekend when you get a lot accomplished? The range of accomplishment was outstanding as well. Reading an article in the NY Times today on The Gap. I am a fan of The Gap and when people

were saying they are dead, I defended them and said~ nope they just had the wrong people there for a little while. Gap is back.

I would also like to add that its little sister Athleta has so completely won me over I was in the store daily. I buy everything from swim to jackets to work out and hang out things there. I love this store.

I was convinced by my friend to help her purge her closet. Most of you are thinking~ wow I   could use that. First let me say~ I am heartless (known to say things like if you think you are fitting into that you are seriously delusional or stop holding on to memories from Banana Republic~ a sweater is not a memory). Most people aren't really up for the task. Most people also don't have the shopping problem my friend has. She needs me. Even her mother quit on her. I love her and we laugh about it. We tackled ONLY knits and sweaters (bagging a lot to give away and leaving only a handful of ” I am not ready to give that away” items). This was just one shelf~ I swear to you one shelf of knits. I

ould not even count how many black and white tanks she has.

The good news is we laughed and laughed (especially as she has a habit of buying in mulitples so every time I found something I looked and found its brothers~ always in black, white, oatmeal or grey~ I love the consistency.) This is one of the after pictures:

After years of hype and conversation about Friday Night Lights I finally watched the first episode~ and then the next one. Accomplishment.

Saw these amazing cool (though very loud) cars going down the street today in NYC.
